Hi Dennis
A good freind of my recently departed Dad is a guy called Ken Liggett. I believe that he was the secretary in 1965. It was called Chelmsford Weight Training and Wrestling Club. Would that be the same club ? Ken lives in Germany but we have a contact number/address for him.
I worked with a guy called Geoff Stern who was also a member,probably from the late 1960s through to the 1980s. My mates brother Chris French (originally from out Chatham Green way) was also a member of the club.
I got an old handbook of Chelmsford at home from 1965 that mentions the club. If I can still find it I may be able to scan and send it to you sometime soon.
